Hi All,

There's a post on the Facebook Speidel Braumeister User Group linking to a (now private) YouTube video for a new 2020 version control unit.

Does anyone have any information on this?

Cheers,

There was a link to a YouTube video for a company called KDAB spruiking their work with Speidel in designing a new controller but has now been made private.

I dig a bit of digging and found a link with some text - https://www.qt.io/ew20

I guess they may have jumped the gun in showing the unit off.

I did some digging too, but not much to find. Did you manage to watch the YouTube video?

Here is what I did find:

* Company website KDAB

* Twitter (via Google cache)

Notice the Braumeister on display. However, you can't see the actual control unit. But I actually suspect this is simply the 2015 controller. I don't think Speidel will make another investement in developing a new controller only after 5 years of releasing the previous.

Maybe Speidel doesn't like to share where it sources there key component?

I watched it once prior to it being pulled.

It appeared to be a different controller to the current one.

Looked to be a flat screen unit.
