Did you leave the coffee from the secondary fermentation? Or boiled?

No coffee at all in the 2nd batch for the rye barrel. It was probably putting the coffee in at the end of the boil that gave my first one (bourbon barrel) a bit a green pepper note. Considered putting cold brew coffee in the 2nd batch, but did some taste testing first and all involved liked it better with no coffee and just cocoa nibs.
