Wanted: Winterwarmer/Christmas Beer

All, I'm looking for a good solid receipts for a Winterwarmer/Christmas Beer for my BM 20. Any suggestions?

This is my first Christmas beer recipe. Probably not the best but a good start. Will be done 2014-11-26

I would change:
1. Light Candi sugar to DARK
2. Remove Star Anise and Gingerbread spices
3. Add some spice that would work great with cinnamon.

Then you have a good recipe i think :)

I wouldn't hold a protein rest for 40 minutes as it may cause poor head retention. 10 minutes will be enough and increase the beta rest time a bit.

The worst thing that can happen if I die is that my wife will sell all my brewing equipment for what I told her I paid for it
