Fruit equivalents.

A lot of US recipes for various fruit beers often call for the use of "Oregon fruit puree," what is the UK equivalent please. Is it frozen fruit puree or fruit pie filling from Tesco/Morrison etc.

I’m not sure you have an equivalent. Oregon is pure fruit that’s puréed and flash pasteurized. It usually comes in large bags. On the Homebrew scale they sell cans under the vintners harvest name. Don’t use pie fillings they have all kinds of preservatives and sugar added.
If you can’t access a similar product use frozen fruit or buy fresh, clean and cut up and freeze.

you can find 'funkin fruit' purees in the uk (on amazon if you must...), these are 1kg packs of pure fruit puree, but they do have some sugar added, at least the raspberry one does, but not enough to really affect the abv. they are sterile, so very easy to use, just open the plastic cap and squeeze them right in. beware that most of their products seem to be cocktail mixers, so only get the pure fruit ones!
