In this plastic fearing world - perhaps we should say no.
The supermarkets are also doing food grade veg bags too for 30p.
PS there hops a v good - this is my goto supplier after Malt Miller.
Re: Hop teabags
Not sure about the bag - but I have used this supplier to get a hold of hops not available from my usual sources - and in small amounts, and I had no problems at all. I'd recommend them.
Re: Hop teabags
Been getting my hops and yeast from these guys for 2 years now, hops and yeast have been first rate.
Re: Hop teabags
Good info about the yeast. Waiting for it to be delivered now. Thought I would give it a go.
Re: Hop teabags
Good reviews from m this supplier then, may have to give them a go myself.
Mashy - where does the plastic come in?

Re: Hop teabags
They quote "*REUSABLE NYLON MESH TEABAG" and I am (pestered by my wife) trying to use and buy less plastic.
Re: Hop teabags
reusable is ok isnt it? i thought just single use was now public enemy number 1!
its quite hard being environmentally friendly when brewing isnt it. On brew day I go through about 30 litres worth of ashbec bottles, god knows how much water when chilling and thats even before you take CO2 into the equation!

Re: Hop teabags
I know what you mean. But I have a head start. I used to be 'tight' now I am 'environmentally friendly '.
Water is a annoying, but I really cannot think of a better way.
