20 Litre Hop Spider

Anyone used the BAC brewing fully enclosed hop spider?
Looking at 2 x types for the 20 on Brxw UK site but prefer the look of the other one (no make and out of stock) that slides over the centre post doesn't look like the BAC one goes over the centre post (from the photo anyway) unless its my bad eyesight :beerbang:

Thanks..

I think 300 is tooo fine.... and £90 is a bit much. The MJ is 800 micron and 1/3 the price. Fits just fine. That said, the ability to slosh it up and down om the post is good.

Or you can pay more for a lid you don't need. I have never seen any hops jump out

MJ is here. Stunning performance and price.

There should be some threads on this as I was asking similar questions a while back. I think the bac one was superior to the original but pricey. After looking into it for a bit I took mashy’s advive and went for the mango jack one. Fits in nicely next to the standard SS immersion chiller. Does the job.

Shouldn’t let you down. I use it for hop stands and it fits loads.
