Once they're visually clean, I like to steam clean, using a wallpaper steamer connected to the gas in QD, with collected condensate pushed out the liquid out QD. This does a good job of removing aroma of prior batches. Did have one old keg of many have its rubber base unglue itself after many such cycles.

I really fancy a pumped bucket fountian jobby, like the guys above

https://www.homebrewersassociation.org/ ... oy-washer/

But I have to confess I have a simple hose with a tap connector on one end and a QD 'out' on the other. 3 bar in the wrong direction clears up most things - and thats after a quick whizz round with TFR and a bog brush (NEW !!) :D

Nice version of this idea. What pump is that? I assume it's got enough power to spin the CIP ball.

Hi Mashy

The 6 way started life as a 4 way then I made a 15mm hole through the middle with a through hole in the pipe as well.

Hi Grooves

The pump is a 30lpm 60w 12Vdc.
I was concerned that the CIP ball would not spin but it works a treat.

I have one - they are ok. Search ebay, you can get them for half this price.

The CIP solution is hands off, and does the dip tubes.

The homeway 6 way is genius - I'm probably going to construct one in PVC rather than copper and found these https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PVC-Water-Pi ... 1876534564

At that price that's why I made my own version of this.
