it's hardly technical support, but can someone please measure their BM50 height when the malt tube is up in the lautering position? i would like to know if one might possibly fit under my cabinets.
thanks!!

Remember if you have restricted headroom you might have a problem lifting the malt tube onto the stirrup! The 50l malt tube is quite heavy when full and you need three hands/an assistant/hoist to lift it and insert the stirrup.

I totally forgot to measure this for you. Busy, busy, busy... ;)

I'll do it tonight, so expect my measurements  within two hours.

I did some measuring and these are the results (rounded up to 0.5cm).

The Braumeister measures 70.5cm and the malt pipe is 48cm high. When the malt pipe is in draining position this totals to 94.5cm. With the tilting bar in place and upright you have to add another 12.5cm.

So, tilting the malt pipe over the Braumeister requires at least 132cm (without considering space for the tilting device like hands or winch).
