Hi brewers
Looking for an honest opinion here. Any you guys out there got the Wifi Modulke.
1. Is it any good
2. Is it worth the money
3. Does it bring anything to the party.
Any advice very much appreciated.

Expensive but-
Currently the only way to update the WiFi + Braumeister Firmware (that i know of)
Limited functionality but i like to have one to keep my Braumeister units up to date with the latest updates and utilise
My Speidel via Ipad-
Very fiddly to fit the plug of the WiFi into the socket on the Braumeister.
The unit clips to one of the legs on the Braumeister so-
Would be quite easy to damage the aerial/unit also when cleaning avoid water contact. :beerbang:

Have that since 2 years and works fine.
For me the value is to very easy create recipes with the computer and copy them on the PM.
Getting the alerts ( adding hops etc ) is pretty convenient as well.

Is it essential and can you brew better beer only because of the module : no

also check the other open topic with same name (by Schmurf)
you can find some feedback there.
I would buy the tilt hydrometer instead (much more to monitor during fermentation stage)

I haven't decided yet myself whether to get the Wi-Fi module or not, but I was reading another thread the other day about condensation problem some (all?) users have on their control unit display. I guess using the web gui would be considered a positive feature if it's a common problem.

Sadly I won't consider it a positive feature, when my misty condensated controller goes Kaput, my Wifi Module will be useless.

I have to say I don't get the need for a WiFi module.
