Brewing delay timer functionality

Unread postby maiko » Sat Sep 15, 2018 11:27 am

Hi all,

How does the delay start work? If I select continue it goes to warming the water. If I leave it as it is it does nothing.

If you continue, will it warm the water to start temp then hold it until brew start? If you leave it will it start warming the water at brew start?

Haven’t seen this function before.

If I continue it goes into brewing as usual. Some people told me to try to leave it that it will start on its own, but it never did.

I've been reading a blog post about this and as I understand it it won't start the program when you continue, but it will start the pump. The program will continue/start heating when the time event occurs.

Just add time with the buttons and leave it. The start is the same as pushing continue. It will start the heating of the water.
For example: I want to mash in when I wake up at 6. I choose my mash program and push the button to 4.30 am. When I wake up, the water is at mash in temp since it’s been heating for 1.30h.
