Thanks for the reply.

What I did do is unplugged the inner element, turned the machine back on, manual mode, heater and all worked fine. Then unplugged the outer element and plugged it into the socket for the inner element, still no problem. Then disconnected the outer element and connected the inner element. Didn't matter which port it went into the circuit breaker tripped. Grabbed my generator out and plugged it straight into that. Tripped the generator as well.

The concerning thing is I gave it a water run the day before and both the pump and heater worked fine. Today when we were all pumped up ready to go it started playing up. I don't know how to test the element itself but the issue is definitely with the inner element.

I live on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. I had a spare circuit available on our sub board. The 15 amp point is the only load on the circuit so I don't think the power supply is the issue. Got the sparky coming back for a look tomorrow though.

That's a conclusive test. I reckon the mega will prove it. Good luck.
