Sorry for the late response, haven't been active on this forum for a while. To drain the hop rocket I put a pyrex baking dish under the lowest disconnect and let it drain out. Kind of a pain, but it works. Then just disconnect from the plate chiller and clean as you normally would. I have a couple adapter hoses I use to flush out the rest with PBW and then rinse with fresh hot water, disassemble and air dry.

Could you not reverse the HopRocket? Inflow from the top, outflow to the plate chiller at the bottom? That would encourage more of the wort to pass through to the fermenter...

Lovely set-up!

Great setup Mate.

Do you circulate for 10 minutes to sterilize the chiller, rocket, pump and lines before you transfer to fermentor?

Do you use the hop rocket as a pre filter for your chiller? if so what is the flow rate like into fermentor after circulating?

Cheers
