I use a manual hoist for lifting the short and long maltpipe. The hoist was originally designed to hoist bicycles off the ground for storage purposes and it works great with the BM malt pipes and cost around £15 from a bike shop:

You can also see my camping mat jacket in this photo (I was also trying out a muslin hopsock that day which I don't use anymore):

Can also be used for an immersion chiller:
