Here are pictures of our new home brewery built from half of our garage. Some key aspects are:
    * Used stainless steel table with sink
    * A lot of outlets
    * Tile walls/floor with floor drain
    * Fan for extracting steam; still investigating duct that sits closer over Braumeister
    * Wired internet
    * 3 refrigerators; one for 2 kegs, one for fermenting with SS connical, one for wife to store her berries and juice

Very nice. Wish I had a dedicated space like that.

Have you got a slope to the floor drain, or do you just squeegie / sweep?

I brew in the shed and the end of my garden, and the biggest pain is there is no drain. I'm now trying out a flexitub with a sump/flood pump to pump back to the drain by the house. Before I had to bail out an old plastic FV with a bucket and run back-and-forth!

I solved this problem by not spilling stuff in the first place.
Must be that big pump of yours :)

The floor is sloped but I'm also getting a sqeegie. I try to be clean but there are always drips from the transfers and filing occasional bottle from keg. Quick hose down and hang stuff over the drain to dry.
