Finally got my Brew Shed finished and how i want it. https://imgur.com/gallery/XlqT6

Maybe the next upgrade will be a 50 litre, anyone selling one in the UK or Europe? :)

Great set up.

I tried an extractor like yours but it was more bother than it was worth.I brew in my garage. I now have my BM on a wheeled stand. I can move it to the hoist to lift the grain pipe and when I'm ready to boil I just wheel it out the door.

Great talking point for passing dog walkers.

Will you need another upgrade for a 50. More electricity and stronger beams for hoisting?

What's happened? Extraction is one of my must haves.

I had all sorts of issues with the extractor fan, mostly with the steam condensing before it passed through it and dripping down my walls. I've got hold of a tumble-drier condenser kit and will try it on next brewday but i'd ideally like to find a nice elegant solution that works and is not just 3 feet of aluminium ducting pointing out the door!

As for upgrades if i get a 50l, an electric hoist would be top of the list :)

Bang on. Condensation is a problem. I settled for "lob the extractor fan out the door" because gravity helps then.

I agree with you - a more elegant solution is required. Perhaps an "any ideas" thread is needed?

I went old school.
Just have a fan blowing the steam out the door... simple, classic, effective
