Yes I did but you can also buy it from ss brewtech as it almost the same chiller and it is made by bvl. ( bvl make the chillers for ss brewtech , only difference is they don't put a circulation pump since ss brewtech is selling those ftss small pumps )

Cheers

Combien de litres ça pourrait gérer le système de refroidissement ? Interessant c'est juste à coté de ou je travail ! J'imagine qu'il y en a pour toutes les grosseurs...

Hi Guys,
I'm new in the hobby and I'm thinking about to buy the SS brewtech fermenter but the difference between the 7Gal and 14Gal is not that much and that is the reason I'm writing here. Would be a problem use the 14GAL for 20L batch? I have a BM20 and the difference between the fermenters are 85€. How bad would be if has that much space for a "small" batch?

Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Alex

The only risk I see is that you have more air on top of the fermenting beer. In all the years I had one batch go bad and it was 5 gallons in a 14 gallon fermenter. That might be a coincidence because it had a slow start of the fermentation which might have caused that and caused the contamination. Would be great to hear other experiences.
