New fermenter with controlled temperature

Yes! Now the beer temperature is of 2 degree C.

can someone help me out in explaining the benefits of this over a brew fridge- given it involves a freezer anyway?

Some of the fermenters have a cooling element inside and a heater on the outside. You can keep the fermenter outside the fridge if have a coolant to cool the beer.

I guess it depends on the climate. In the UK we mainly need heating. Brew fridge probably better.

Hotter climes probably need more cooling?

But I still this a good brew fridge would cope?

Different folks different strokes...

have a fridge getting dropped off for me tonight. Didn't think i would need one until summer as ambient temperature never get above 19c and i only brew ales. however latest fermenation with ringwood Ale yeast took the wort up about 4 degrees above room temp.
