Katjelam Brew Day (all-speidel nanobrewery)

Yesterday I did a collab-brew with Katjelam in Nijmegen (Netherlands), they are a tiny all-mixed-fermentation brewery, lots of brett and bugs and funky beers, brewing 100L batches on two 50L speidels, currently residing in an old teaching lab in a shared space with bakers, chocolate makers, food science people, etc. next to Oersoep and Stoom brewpub. We brewed a 'historic' pale ale, mixed fermentation with an english yeast (timothy taylor's) and a little bit of a brett blend (amalgamation from the yeast bay). Basically all maris otter and goldings, and we are going to taste after a few months and think about a dry hop. This beer will eventually be on tap at my place (Kromme Haring brewpub in Utrecht, opening this summer) and 'theirs', ie Stoom in Nijmegen. Here are some pics of the brewday. You like pics, don't you.
