Stainless growlers &c

Got several of these:

Not exactly as claimed, don't fit the liquid QDs, talking to seller about that. Still very useful for purging, bottom filling, and pressurizing bottles, including these:

with the exception of the pressurizing. Excellent containers for BM-brewed samples. Thinking of modifying the lids:

by drilling and fitting these:

Anyone know how many threads are needed to make tapping the drilled hole worthwhile for a bulkhead fitting?

The tapper for the stainless growlers is a little spendy, but wicked cool kit.

Corny kegs are more popular in the UK.

I have a few.

The SS growlers are nice but a bit small, so expensive per litre [not enough bang for your buck]

Long time fan of the Cornies, have a 1.75 gallon cannonball I got not too long ago, six or seven 3 gallon, 2 10 gallon that I tend to fill from the fermenters, and I don't know how many 5 gallon ones, lots. I used to have, but haven't seen in a long time, a stainless dolly built for a 5 gallon Corny.

One of these days, I'm going to line up a bunch of them in series and try balsamic brewing. Of course, having a superior wort making robot makes that a much simpler proposition.
