This is the place to brag about your brewhouse set-up. Pictures are greatly appreciated!

Please upgrade that glass shelf, I really wouldn't trust it to hold that much weight.

Yes, already done after taking this picture. Thanks for the concern though :)

I upgraded my glass shelf too - after it broke! :(

As my understanding of fermentation-temperature-control arose I've built 2 of the kind.

Hi airborn,

The bracket for holding the Fastferment conical is really cool :)

I have a similar setup, can I get hold of such a bracket somewhere or is it custom made ?

Fermentation Fridge.

My setup.

STC1000 controlled fridge. One outlet for cooling. One for heating. Outside I only use the one for cooling. The fridge is hooked up to that one.

SS half barrel inside.

Two low power heating elements taped to the conical. Gives approx 10 w per meter.

Image

Heating elements coupled to a inside socket controlled by the STC1000 for the heating.

A little rope pully mounted on a slider for getting the mash tun out. Works like a charm :-)

Nice! Have often thought about buying a stainless conical. I use a tube heater in my fridge. I guess that should also work.

Tube heater is probably the best.
