This is the place to brag about your brewhouse set-up. Pictures are greatly appreciated!

That looks great Joar.

I note you moved the oxygen to the point after the Chugger as Aleman suggested....did that work better in that position??.

What does the in line wort strainer do? Is that a filter of some kind?

Is the triclamp fitting welded on? What diameter is it? I came into a big pile of triclamp stuff and was thinking along similar lines . . .
We are the 801, we are the central shaft

Wow!
Very impressive.
I'd like something similar now that I'm fermenting in a stainless 50lt keg & oxygenating the wort would be much better whilst doing the transfer to the waiting keg.
To start with, what is the fitting that comes from the threaded 3/4" bsp on the BM to the first Tri Clover fitting?

Hi Dicko. I've used one of these trub filters for a few years now. They work very well for filtering out trub and hops. It did get blocked when I chilled in the kettle one time. Since then I chill to 50 degrees and run through a plate chiller to the fermenter. Very good value piece of equipment.

Does anyone know the fitting required to join the 3/4" thread of the BM to the first tri clover fitting.
Would it be this one........https://www.brewershardware.com/1.5-Tri ... e-NPT.html
The BM tap thread is NPT or BSP?
Cheers

The 20 is 1/2 inch BSP. So my money is logically on BSP for the 50

Thanks guys.
It was bsp so got the first piece of the puzzle worked out.
Can you link us to the correct size butterfly ball valve you used Joar.

Sorry about the photo orientation.
Can anyone suggest a fix for this. The photo saved on my computer is the correct orientation but when I upload it here, it's sideways.

Was it taken on a cellphone? You can only use landscape orientation. Frustrating.

Just wondering if any of you guys have purchased any 1" Tri Clover fittings from Brewer's Hardware.
I've got some questions regarding their description of sizing that I'd like some clarification on.
I've sent an email last night but I've heard nothing back as yet.
1" butterfly valve.....http://www.brewershardware.com/1-Tri-Cl ... Valve.html
You'll notice in the related products down the bottom it displays the 1.5" clamp even though the ferrule is basically 2" according to the sizing chart below.
Sizing chart
http://www.brewershardware.com/how_to_u ... tings.html
So when ordering anything 1", the clamp is the 1"/1.5" clamp right?

You are right the 1.5" and 1" always connect together. They have the same clamps. It only the inner diameter tube/fitting thats different.
Here is a size chart that explains this better.
