Had a chance to get 2 wraps of reflectix on my new BM tonight:

Looks like 3 wraps is about the max you can get on there and still use the handles:

Neat job!

I prefer to use the removable jacket simply because I can remove it when cooling to speed up the process. I guess this may be different with the plus model.

I did think about that at first but then the following things made me just tape it all up:

1.) The wraps need to be snug to be able to get three layers on and not be sloppy;

2.) I have my old cooler MLT and IC setup as an ice bath prechiller for the plus cooling jacket so temps will be cold;

3.) I have the pump attachment for whirlpooling sometimes should be short and sweet.

noooooooo really. I took my jacket off for the first time ever lastweek and that was onlt 'cos of a boilover.

What you need is a better coil :D

Apparently they are useful for stopping unwanted pregnancies :lol: I prefer a plate chiller

My old girlfriend tried the Dutch Cap but couldn’t get on with it.

She tried the largest size available but it was still too tight across the forehead
