However when I talked to Speidel, they told that it was note possible to buy as a spare part. Wonder if you have to live in US, and not europe to get it as a spare.

If you machine is damaged, I am certain you can get a spare part. My kettle was damaged (by accident by me)

Agree, but I am not concerned because I accidentally damaged my old kettle.

Well I have talked to both Speidel and the local distributer, and it is simply not possible.
