Have an electric winch, but I want to be able to set up in a number of locations i.e. no fixed brew space - yet!
This was the post I was looking for earlier this week.

Very good idea! Nowhere for malt pipe to go after raising however.

Yup. I am thinking is can hang there draining while boil starts.
At what point are you thinking of man-handling it? When its on the floor / table and what do you do next tip it out or shovel it?

I am beginning to think, best bet is a double wide table with a beam across the top.

Yep. You could line it up between the Brau and another vessel to drain into.
I've got one (and a winch) but haven't installed it yet.
I used to have a gantry but the missus said she didn't like it because it looked like a gallows. 8)

Lol. I know what you mean. I have actively tried not to use that word in my replies.

I'm still no closer to a solution, although some of the ideas shared here have been fantastic. I have spent a lot of time looking at brewery set-ups and wishing I had the time/space/money to spend on similar equipment... Like this:

You can get properly carried away.
I considered a dedicated brew 'table', extending the leads for the control panel. Hoist and a swing in, swing out extractor hood, to make stirring and hop addition easier. With the extractor fan mounted below the lower shelf.

A terrific idea. Very well engineered. I haven’t been able to source a small enough hoist yet, but I have collected parts for the pump modification.
How much did the frame build cost you all up? I’m thinking box aluminium could replace the stainless to keep costs down.
Great work djKlasen

I use a simple engine hoist. The advantage of this is that it breaks down into three parts for easy storage. I keep mine under my brew bench until its needed. Cost me £80 on Ebay. Once you've hoisted the malt tube you can pull it away and move the tube somewhere else.

Would it be possible to have your build dimensions too?
