Braumeister seems to call it "Rest bracket" on their website or "support bow", "drip bow" in the BM instructions....

Definitely not something that I wish to see happening on my BM50... then 4 more zip ties in the center of the two rest bracket "legs", to hold the malt tube bolts in position!?! Yes, I love zip ties

You should suggest your idea to bacbrewing.com, they like to make fancy stainless steel accessories for BM :p . Some are on my shopping list once budget will allow it.

Here is my poor man version. 4 zip ties. Seems to hold pretty ok. Need to test it in real condition now.

Great idea. I've done something similar with some small pieces of silicone tubing slid onto the U-bar. I found that the silicone stays in place and helps grip if you knock the bar with the pipe.

Unfortunately on the train, so can't post a picture.

I think the best translation is "Stirrup" like the thing you put your foot in when riding a horse.

Yep. Just align them so that they both sit against the outside edge of the brau rim (like in the zip tie version).

Got it.

I wondered if you have used two bits each side. Both reaching the inside lip on the BM. With a small gap in between to catch the malt tube lugs.

I do hope that makes sense... I am going to order to silicone pipe. Red?
