I wonder why!
Well, if your screen is calibrated correctly the green should be a nice fresh hoppy green. But I must admit that I might have been a bit too risky in choosing these colours.

If I find some time in the coming weeks I'll fine tune the blue theme and rename it "Water".

I won't give in! ;) But I'll provide an alternative theme.

I just realised that I'll have to check the Interwebs about colour blindness. Isn't green a major problem for those suffering from colour blindness?

Niels,
It is not so much the colour green it is the contrast between the green and the actual text in each post that I have difficulty with.
The blue on the other hand has a great contrast (for me) and is so much easier to read.
According to the Australian Army tests in the late sixties I am not colourblind but I am getting on a bit now and I may put down my diagnosis of poor contrast with the green theme to older age. :D
The worst thing that can happen if I die is that my wife will sell all my brewing equipment for what I told her I paid for it

FWIW the blue is brilliant, and my eyes are blue so its not about eye colour
Is it not worth changing just the logo to green if you really want to retain it?

Dark green would work. There is so little contrast with the light green.

Brand new Forum member here and my first post is to applaud the green color. Thanks, Niels.

My "lurking" here these last few weeks has established the logo and the color as "home" to me. I hope it remains familiar.

I know the forum has other beer and Speidel subjects which is where you'll find me going forward.
