Soon to be available temp and pump controller.
PID, WiFi, ISO fit, tons of features.
Could be used as a replacement for BM controller...

(I have no affiliation)

This is from the same guy that did the highly acclaimed Ardbir controller

One more plug for SmartPID.
For pre-2015 bm owners, this offers the ability to remotely control your bm via Wi-Fi.
I have the older bm, looking to do this.

Is it much work? What mods are required to the software to make it communicate with the BM and present a user interface that makes sense on the BM?

If I was of a mind to change controller I think I might investigate the new one from GF - £100 and functionally rich.

I think that way you might just get the best of both worlds.

The BM has 1 input - temp, and 2 outputs - pump & heat.
I suggest interface with the components directly (via SSR where appropriate).
The SmartPID or the new Grainfather controller sounds like an alternative for someone looking to replace a faulty controller and would like better control and logging of the process.
