Very pleased to receive my first and your third newsletter.
I've spent the summer struggling with power issues for my new 20L. Our apartment complex has, ahem, complex rules regarding both water service and 220V service. My nifty new LP generator powered my initial brew quite well if noisily (thundering) and expensively; ¾ of a 20 pound bottle. I gathered information here and elsewhere and cobbled together a couple cables to tap into our laundry's 220V outlet. However, some unexpected summer road trips have kept me from my brewing calendar. I leave Texas Sunday for Chicago and northern Wisconsin but intend to resume regular brewing by the equinox.
Now, returned from Oregon, catching up on various Board topics..... my new hop basket was delivered this afternoon....
For the record, I am fascinated by the breadth of our residences....
And, touring Speidel with fellow board members, ESPECIALLY by motorcycle..... well.... I better work on finding a ferry, eh?! Dates would definitely fuel this fantasy of mine! Pencil Niels, very light pencil!
Congrats on Eva. Someone mentioned grandchildren..... our two daughters have five boys between them and in my mind's eye Eva looks JUST as Heather and Kristen do.... tempus fugit....blink of an eye...
