"Unsafe connection" to the forum

Unread postby niels » Mon Nov 23, 2015 7:59 pm

Hi all,

I just wanted to say that you might get a warning from your browser that the connection to the forum is unsafe and/or not private. This happens because the SSL certificate used to encrypt the connection to the forum has expired. I totally forgot to replace the certificate with a new one (although I got a reminder e-mail).

I'm in the process of requesting a new certificate and will replace the current one in the coming days. This means the warning will disappear when finished.

DO NOT WORRY: it's still safe to visit the forum! There is no hacking, viruses or any other "bad" things happening.

Cheers,
Niels

Dam I was looking forward to being redirected to some interesting new hobby sites.
I wasn't planning on going for a run today but those cops came from nowhere!

Quick update: the certificate is renewed with a commercial one (the previous one was a free certificate) which is valid for 36 months. We're all safe again ;)

Sorry for the confusion!
