I don't have one, but have read good reviews of this:
http://www.ssbrewtech.com/products/brewbucket

And they have a full conical too.

You have several manufacturers of stainless conical fermentors but the most well known are probably Blichmann and Ss Brewing Technologies. Both are US based, so shipping to the EU raises the price considerably.

There are some alternatives like Chines made vessels and an Italian based company which the name slips my mind at the moment.

To be honest I've been looking at a CCT too, but I will stick to my glass carboys for a while. The main disadvantage for stainless (or opaque plastic) is the fact that you can't visually follow the fermentation without opening the vessel. I might switch to plastic fermentors as they tend not to be too opaque so you can see the krausen and the yeast cake through the side.

The maltmiller here in the UK is selling the SS Brewtech stainless conical buckets at a reasonable price, I'm waiting for him to get the 7g chronical in stock.

Stainless brew bucket
To brew or not to brew, that would be a stupid question !

Option would be to drill a hole for a thermowell, I think the MM might be able to do that as an option.

You almost had my hopes up there, that's the 'conical' brew bucket (that I've seen in the flesh and looks a very good piece of kit, perfect for cornie sized batches) I am tempted because you can stack these, so brewing 50L will get two buckets full which could be pitched with different yeast and will easily fit in my larder fridge.

What I'm waiting to see arrive is the Chronical Fermenter, however I note it's only 7 gallon which is almost the same as the brew bucket so not big enough for me (I need 10 gallons).

The SS Brewtech site say there are no plans for a 10gal unit, although they are planning a 14gal Chronical (Conical) due Oct/Nov this year.

BrauTim: Would the 7gal conical be too small for your 25lt batches? Remaining options would be 14gal (53lt) or the half barrel 17gal (64lt) which I think would be very expensive.

BTW, The Maltmiller plan to stock the whole range of SS Brewtech fermenters eventually.

I'm considering 2 x brewbuckets for times when I want split batches of 20l for Sankey sized brews and I'll stick with my 60l Speidel barrel until something better comes along. I'm happy with the barrel though as it's easy to use and clean and it's light.

I just bought one of these Brew Buckets from TMM... it's a great bit of kit.

2014-08-07 20.37.05.jpg

First brew in it last friday.... A Ghost Ship Clone with recovered Adnams yeast. It went off like a rocket and had to replace the airlock with a blow off tube.... all settled down now though..... http://vid1277.photobucket.com/albums/y ... 9108b2.mp4

There is a thermowell and temp probe kit that will be stocked by TMM around Autumn time when they get the rest of the SSBrew Tech stuff delivered.... will just need to drill a hole for it. http://www.ssbrewtech.com/products/weldless-thermowell-with-lcd-temp-display

The FTSS looks quite interesting too if you don't have a fridge. http://www.ssbrewtech.com/collections/ftss

This could get very expensive.... and haven't got the BM yet!!!
