Beer Festivals

How about a thread that members contribute to about beer festivals they are going to or have heard about?

For example, myself and Mrs BrauTim will be going to Newbury, UK beer festival on the 13th Sept, loads of music also, see ya there :drink:

To brew or not to brew, that would be a stupid question !

Newbury? If you're lucky, you might get a Greenfield Pork hog roast to accompany the fine ale :D

Well, I know you ALL are Far Far away from me.. but, I'll be pouring at a beerfest here in N.Calif. Healdsburg's annual Beer in the Plaza. Most beerfests I pour for, I pour for Lost Coast Brewing out of Eureka, CA. At this fest, I may pour for the brewery I work part time at.. I don't know yet.. We have a bunch of good ones up here in my area.. as well as a lot of awesome breweries.. It's all fun.

De Bonte Koe Bockbier Festival Purmerend
This modest bockbier festival is organized on Oktober 5 from 14:00-19:00 by the local beer pub De Bonte Koe.
There will be about 30 different bocks to try out.
Es ist zwar ein sehr gutes Bier, die Goslarische Gose; doch wenn man meint, sie sey im Bauch, so liegt sie in der Hose.

there's a (herfst)bokbier festival in utrecht every october (17-19th this year i think) but it's a shit show. it's in a small square (ledig erf) and packed shoulder to shoulder, nearly impossible to get a beer, and the couple times i've tried to go i've ended up relaxing in a nearby pub. i don't get the impression that the people are that interested in bokbier, so it's not that bok is so popular it needs a bigger venue, just needs to be better organized. or something. organizers take note- your festival needs urgent care!

I have a bit of a crowd phobia, so I don't go to a lot of festivals anymore. But, I do really enjoy the the Hasselt Beer Weekend (http://www.limburgse-biervrienden.be/we ... flyer-2014). It's fairly small, not too crowded and the beers are well chosen. I'm planning to go this year.
