Earthquake

Unread postby HopSong » Sun Aug 24, 2014 3:07 pm

Pretty good earthquake this morning about 3:20am. As large as the (in)famous San Francisco quake of 1906 but smaller than the big one that hit Oakland, CA in '89.. I think that was the year. Woke me up. I'm about 30 or so miles from the epicenter.. but no damage here, fortunately. Too early to tell how much damage occurred in Napa where the epicenter was. There will be a huge toll on the amount of world class wine that will have been spilled or destroyed.

Holy crap Bill!! I hope I didn't set it off with my comments the other day about sliding into the ocean!
I wasn't planning on going for a run today but those cops came from nowhere!

Uhhhhhh, guess what! I'm reporting you to the local authorities. Should have done so BEFORE the quake. YOUR fault I was awakened shortly after 3am. Sheesh, Lylo. Didn't know you were that powerful.

Good to hear you're ok Bill. We got woke up here, but not enough to get me out of bed 8)

I've seen pics of quite a bit of wine damage in retail stores, hope the vineyards are ok.
