Stocking up some goodies

Unread postby niels » Sat Jul 19, 2014 8:59 pm

I passed by the beer store today to get some beers for my cellar. I bought a series of geuzes and krieks to drink this summer, but most of them I bought twice so I have one of each to keep for a little longer.

I started tonight with the Tilquin Oide Geuze. That was a tasty treat after a day at 33°C.

i went over to the dark side this week.... after a couple (chilly) days camping in the ardennes i went to the mosel in germany for a few days and came home with an absurd amount of very reasonably priced wines for my new cellar. rieslings of all types, more riesling, sparkling riesling, gewone riesling, dornfelder, dornfelder rose (who knew?), spatburgunder.... delicious stuff.
it is sitting alongside some very nice beers down there

I'm pretty sure there are a ton of things better/nicer in Australia than in grey, cold Belgium...

Niels, you may be correct with some items but you guys are so lucky with the ability to buy quality beers at a reasonable price. :(
