Amsterdam- Brettanomyces Fest- try my BM beer!

The third annual brettanomyces (en andere wilde dieren / and other wild beasts) festival organized by the Bierkoning in Amsterdam is upon us this coming weekend (27 and 28 June 2014). Lots of great beer releases, tastings, guest beers on tap, presentations at a few venues in ams, ron pattinson will give a talk again as last year, about brett in beer history, last year in english (old) ales, with tasting samples, this year lost german beer styles. Last year there were many very interesting beers from UK, BE, NL, US, IT. Notably struise from oostvleteren (so delicious), and loverbeer from nothern italy (totally novel approach, super interesting), with the brewers on hand at the beer temple to discuss their ideas, history and motivation. jester king, cantillon, boon, mort subite, many others had special releases. and some experimental garbage as well! you never know.
On that note, in the 'wild homebrewer' session, as I did last year if anyone was there..., I will have a couple beers on (I am Brouwerij de Kromme Haring). One is a light fruity summer session (3.8 abv) pale ale with el dorado and cascade, 100% brett-fermented (my Sacc-free series). The second is a flemish-style red ale, some 2+ year old beer (using wyeast roeselare blend of yeast and bugs) blended with a newer beer, and a bit of sour mash. Both of these are BM beers (not the mini sour mash though) and will be on tap at Brouwerij De Prael saturday afternoon from 14:00, while they last. Stop by and say hello if you are in the area!
There is the main entrance to de prael on oudezijds voorburgwal on the big canal by the red light district, and there's a side entrance to the bar/tasting room around the corner down an alley. we're down the alley.

I would really like to come since Amsterdam isn't impossible to travel to, but I'm already attending a wedding.

Can you save a glass for me ;)
