This is depressing me. I quit while I was ahead in the late eighties -- the last bike was a BMW R100RT. Maybe only slightly quicker than Gert"s beautiful Eddie Merckx bike, but a wonderful tourer.
My wife will freak if I start again

Mine's a 2003 Triumph Bonneville T100. Here's a shot from a few years ago, loaded up for my ride to Prague.

I had the exact same bike bought from new in 2003.
I just recently sold it. Still painful on a sunny day.
But I did get to buy a Braumeister with some of the proceeds so that helped a little :)

This is mine, a 2006 Aprilia Caponord, it uses the same Rotax V990 engine as the RSV but detuned for dual sport use.

Managed to dig up an old photo from a bike rally here in Singapore about 5 years ago.

My former RKC at the foreground.

Not quite, but we are doing a lot of the landing beaches, Pegasus bridge, merville battery etc and maybe the tapestry, just had a bier de garde and really enjoyed it, will be putting that on my list of brews to do.
