i suffered through that match (at kafe belgie here in utrecht), it was miserable until be came alive a bit in the dying minutes. not one for the neutral, as they say.

Funny line, and I must admit I am not much of a fan of soccer either.
I am fast asleep while it is televised in Australia. :D

Well, this video makes it clear how I feel about the World Cup:


I couldn't care less about the actual game, but ripping off the people living in the country that is hosting the Cup makes me angry.

Classic line! Wish I could find the video clip of a player "diving" and rolling in agony. The medics rush on and blow-dry his hair, after which he leaps up and carries on playing.
