Placed the top screen on the malt pipe and then think to yourself , this did not come with 3 sets of screens. How can i have 1 set still?
Not that this happened to me but could you just imagine how stupid one might feel?

Once, I could believe. What I could not believe was when I did it a second time!!!
I wasn't planning on going for a run today but those cops came from nowhere!

i can confirm the stupid feeling. i can also confirm the ability of a forgotten screen (and plate) to summon a rather ripe string of invective. therefore i have limited myself to doing this once.

Things happen. First brew, I used logic instead of "RTFM". If the bottom screen plate has the flange up the top one must obviously have the flange down. Of course the hold-down bar did not hold the screen down and all hell broke loose. 50L of brew down the drain.

Also, first kegging experience: plugged the beer connector onto the Corney and the picnic tap shot off followed by a jet of beer. In the panic it took a while to filter the information -- pull the safety valve? shut the CO2 valve? pull off the Corney Co2 connector? disconnect the Beer line connector? By the time I realised the last option was best I could have put out a medium-sized fire with the beer/CO2 combo.
