Tried the delayed start function today, a bit confusing interface, but it really is a nice feature. Yesterday night I filled my BM with cold tap water, set the timer to start the brew program early in the morning. By the time I got up, strike water was close to dough-n temp.

I will be using this in a few days. I often just start it from bed when I wake up but this should mean that I am finishing early and hopefully that I can brew more.

Excellent, I installed on the weekend and will try for a brew this weekend. Thank you people! :)

Why they didn't just add it as a step!?!?!?

Brewed over the weekend using this firmware. The timer acts as expected and there is now a warning of when to take the lid off before the boil is released. :beerbang:

This was really a long time coming. I'll have to update this week before the next brew session.

Can you update a BM20 2015 without the WiFi module?

You can with the correct cable, I believe it's been discussed in a previous post on this forum.

The cheapest way is to borrow a wifi module or ask your supplier to update it for you.
