New to Beersmith..how does this look

Unread postby Muddy » Sun Aug 23, 2015 3:38 pm

Trying to design an English ale with a deep biscuit taste the traditional bitter bite to it

Mash in at 25 litres...
mash profile
mash in at 38c
protein rest 52c 10 mins
maltose rest 63c 25 mins
sugar rest 1 72c 35 mins
sugar rest 2 78c 15 mins

Beersmith recommends to sparge with an additional 5.25 litres

Post boil allowing for 2 litres dead space should give me 18+litres

I intend to use safale S-04

Recipe as follows...thoughts and comments appreciated for a BM and beer smith novice
