Maiden voyage

Unread postby janox » Sun Jan 04, 2015 9:59 pm

So, had my first brew in the bm20 (2015) today. (well the first was on newyears eve, but then i used it to cook food sous vide)
I really like this machine, very smooth and easy brewday, had the same troubles with temp as mentioned in the general tips/tricks section-thread (boilingtimer goes of @90C) so i had to put it into manual during the boil. Also im still waiting on the supporting stirrup and lifting bar which was not included so used meathooks  for lifting and drained into a fermentationbucket-

Hit 72% efficiency which i feel is fine, probably can finetune it up by a few %.

This resulted in 19.5L of Stone IPA clone (1.066) in my primary. :drink:

I feel like the number of brewdays will increase this year
