i love swansea. i learned to surf down the gower. still not very good (quite bad actually), but you never forget your first. welcome to the forum. you are bound to love the BM. i suggest starting simple, get to know it with a few easy, tasty brews before you go down any strange paths, and then go for it.

I also love Swansea. (Just got back from a 3 week trip hence late post).
Spent a few weeks there in the early 70's and have fond memories. Is there a district called The Mumbles? Seem to remember learning to drink there.
Luckily avoided the Swansea Heddlu!

Welcome to the forum. Enjoy your BM. You know you want one.

Royco. You would be thinking of the Mumble mile. While I was at Uni in Swansea (mid 90's) there were about 16 pubs along a one mile stretch, the challenge was a pint in each one before heading to Cinderella's night club. I don't think I ever actually got to the club.
