Ste. Genevieve Brewery!!

Unread postby SteGen » Mon Mar 02, 2015 3:16 pm

Hello All!! I'm ordering my Braumeister 50L this week and will utilize it for a brewery my wife and I are starting in Ste. Genevieve, MO.
(With plans of course for the 500L in the near future.)

First though, lots of 'test' batches!! I'm excited to see how everyone is using theirs.

Thanks for this community!!

Well right now it's just the old building that was the brewery in Ste. Gen before prohibition.

It's a big, old, really cool brick building with not much inside.

But here is a picture:

If you want to see the inside, I did 360 photos of each of the rooms.

+1

It'll be great to see what you do with the place, and see some progress shots along the way.

Thanks everyone!!

The 50L Braumeister is ordered and on the way!! It'll be here in a couple days, along with the ingredients for my first beer, the Ruination clone I found here on another thread.

Here is the plan for the brewery on the 50L bm:

I'll use it now and brew the 50L batches for home use and to give away while I sell t-shirts, hats, etc.

When licensed, I'll get a few 120L fermenters and brew every weekend a double brew-length on the system to go into those fermenters. 20L of those will go into half firkins for tasting in the tasting room (it's a brewery, not a pub... no food. Ste. Gen is a tourist town popular for wineries and wine tasting... we'll fit our business to that model.)

As we grow, We'll invest in more 50L bm's (for a custom brew business line, and test batches), and soon thereafter, a 500L bm, with fermenters large enough to put 2 brew-lengths in there.
