Howdy y'all

Unread postby Victor Coelho » Fri May 02, 2014 11:40 pm

I'm not from Texas, I'm from Brazil.
I have a BM50 clone but since it is a quite heavy equipment to operate alone, I became depended to the friend's help and have to listen to tips and sugestions on what to brew.
Now I got myself a BM20 and of course my independence back to brew whatever I fell like to.
Thanks for accepting my registration!
Cheers!

Welcome Victor!

Can you give some info about the Braumeister clone? Was it a DIY build or a commercial product?

Hi Neils!
It's a commercial product and almost identical (a bit bigger) to the BM.
The one I have is the 50L and it comes with 2 malt tubes, one for 20L and one for 50L and two Chugger pumps.
It works pretty well, I've been getting a little over 75% efficience but is quite heavy.

Hi Victor,

I'm also interested in getting a BM20L.
Are you happy with your recent toy?
Did you found any problems with the boil?
What about high gravity beers?

Cheers
Luis

Hi Luis!
Couldn't be happier, it's about the perfect size for me.
With it I can brew whatever I want without depending on someone's help.
It's easy and simple to work with.
To brew big ones, you either use DME/LME, sugar, etc., or you simply pause the BM and do a second mash.
Simple as that!
Go for it!
