Re: Stainless pint pots

Perhaps the flavor change is related to the natural oxide layer that forms over time.

You can force this change by using a passivation technique.

Re: better late than never

I can follow my braumeister on myspeidel BUT i can't connect directly to it with my wifi -

IS THAT CORRECTLY UNDERSTOOD ??
Yes, correctly understood. And by design as I understand it.

One of the reasons I no longer use the WiFi connection. I have no desire to be chained to the internet.

Re: Kegging to bottling

Just check the pressure periodically, say with a spunding valve, to make sure it's not leaking gas. Are you making up words now :) :) whats a spunding valve ? Basically just an adjustable pressure relief valve. I use one like this to ferment under pressure. https://ikegger.com/products/diaphragm-sp...

Re: Software up date to v1.1.27

If you would like to try a little experiment follow along. This won't correct the problem but it could provide some insight as to what the likely cause is. The following procedure is an attempt to slightly drop the line/mains voltage by way of a heavy load on the same circuit as the Braumeister. You...

Re: Not connected to myspeidel anymore

Bard, At the moment, the only thing I can think of is the USB cable. It seems that not all USB cables are created equal so be sure the one you are using is of the correct type. I know the cable that is provided with the WiFi unit is short but it is definitely the correct type. If you haven't used th...

Re: Software up date to v1.1.27

Kronos,

Let us know what happens.

I can provide details on how to check if it's the same failure as I have but it will require some test equipment (volt meter).
The failure I have can be quite elusive. I spent weeks tracking it down.

Re: Software up date to v1.1.27

Sounds like it may be the same problem I am having. However, the failure I have does not appear to be software related. As far as I know the only way to eliminate it is to disconnect the WiFi unit. It appears to be some kind of power supply issue. Speidle has been contacted and are supposedly workin...

Looks like the sheriff needs to deputize a few more volunteers.

I'd be happy to help out.

I should have been more specific.
It's the claim of greater efficiency that I find most interesting.

"the larger is "less clean" but has a greater efficiency"

Do let us know how this prediction turns out.

Brew Stand

I originally built this for my Fast Ferment. With a little modification I also use it for my Braumeister 20L. I use the cooler at the top to hold preheated sparge water. I don't have a dedicated brew space so the fact that I can just wheel this around as needed makes things much easier. https://i.ib...

There is some information on the temp probe in this post that may be helpful: https://forum.braumeisters.net/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=190&hilit=Temperature+sensor&start=15 Looks to be a relatively low cost item, not too difficult to replace. However, it is possible that the controller would then need to ...
