Thank you for your answer. You're right - there is a timer function and we use it in the morning when brewing, but we need to do a good cleaning with hot water and it takes many hours to do this when we have to wait for the water to heat enough...

It takes a long time to heat the water in BM200!

Our new BM200 seems very slow. It takes about 3 hours to heat 240 liter water from 12 C to 68 C. Is this normal? Is there anything I can do?

Yes it looks like a case for Speidel. Another two weeks with out my precious machine :x

Temperature shows below zero

Hi

The controller for my BM20 has just returned from Seidel after upgrading the software. When I start my BM, it displays a temperature like -1,5 C. But I know, that it should say around 20 C. Is that a known issue and is there a workaround for that?

LAC how did your OP go? I have tried several versions of recipes but haven't found the perfect one :)
