Re: Which grain mill?

RichardM, I do wonder if any of these roller Mills can get close to a course gritty flour rather that just a crush. I agree. I dried some spent malt and then recrushed it as fine as possible and used it in some bread. It was still fairly corse so I only used a small proportion of it compared to whi...

Re: How many bottles..

With the dawning of a new decade, thought it might be nice to have a stock take. How many bottles (or kegs) do you have in stock after all the celebrations?? PS Fermenters don't count :D Do you mean full ones? I have one bottle left. I haven't brewed for awhile because my fermenting fridge is occup...

I've got this one - https://www.themaltmiller.co.uk/product ... -3-roller/ - and have no complaints. It would be a workout to do 10kg in 5 minutes!
I have this one, it works well with a cordless drill

Richard

I think you might be onto something.

Does that get rid of the furry element crud?
It removes most of it, the rest comes off with a quick brush

Re: Wash pump.

So hot run. Disappointing. Got the obvious 'tide mark' gunge off with a loo brush as normal. The purpose of this project was I really wanted it to remove the shite from the element. It didn't. Can someone check my dosage please? 60g of PBW in 10 litres @ 35c. Stopped at 35c because of the pump limi...

Nothing from speidel technical support?
The instructions I quoted are from Braumeister via BrewUK. The change seems to be to lengthen the time with no temp rise before starting the boil

Hello,
With the Utah Filte I have enough space to place the Hydra Chiller.

That looks like the one I have. As you say, the chiller fits over it. I've never worked out what the short stainless steel tube is for.

Re: Controller Screen Condensation

Resurrecting an old post here. Just completed my 73rd brew on my BM. Have had condensation on the last 70 of them. Did anyone find a solution or is it still an ongoing problem? Opened the controller up next day and removed small droplets of water. Where does this water come from? It's moisture in t...

Re: [FOR SALE] BM 20L PLUS + LOADS OF ACCESORIES - UK

Are you prepared to sell any of the items separately? If the buyer pays postage are you prepared to send individual items? I'm interested in the short malt pipe and the whirlpool crank. What scales do you have? If you have any large postage type scales that can be used for weighing grain I'd be inte...

Re: Centre rod base gasket material?

If you look at the parts list attached to one of the posts in this thread https://forum.braumeisters.net/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2849 you will see that the gasket is available as a spare part, Tie-Rod Gasket (65691) 8,-- € . Presumably a local Braumeister supplier could get hold of one for you even if t...

Re: Pump

Good point Richard. Mine gets flushed, as it pumps all the shite away and then I strip it for a check. How are you cleaning it? Disassemble & spray or soaking the whole BM? I cleaned the worst of the crud out of the BM after brewing then added a few litres of water and some PWB, set it to heat to 5...

Mine are dark brown
Mine was dark brown until I used PBW to clean up after brewing today. Now everything thing is shiny again. PBW has done a better job than any other cleaning agent that I have used.

If you don't like it, report it to admin. I'm quite happy if it's removed because of an unintended insult to you, although my wife didn't object. It's not about insulting me. I'm objecting to the way you casually disparage women using. silly stereotypes. Would you do the same about someone's race, ...
